The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

About this game

Action takes place after ~300 years from now. You play as a G.S.G. (political organization Great States of Galaxy) soldier/scientist Eren Tersong. Everything starts like another boring day is a training/living facility, but ends not quite that way.

EDIT: Upgraded version to 1.1, fixed many bugs. Next release will have voices.

AGS Panel Review

"Clumsy interactions detract from an otherwise competent effort. Would benefit from an extra layer of polish."

I noticed your blog, whre u seem to have made a followup to this game.
Is there any hope of u fixing the interaction issues with this and also it would be nice to see the second game in this title.

The inventory system is quite awkward. Took awhile to figure it out. You should put some instructions in, because players will give up after five minutes.

Me: Hmm...maybe I can use the ID card on the lock.
*tries to use ID card on lock*
PC: I can't use my ID card on that.

This game enjoys a good atmosphere, with the exception of some rather repetitive music!

I found using the inventory items quite awkward too. You have to right click to bring up the inventory, left click on an item, then right click to exit the inventory, but if you right click when your over another inventory item it will try to use them together. Quite frustrating when being chased.

Despite this though, the game has some nice graphics, and an interesting story.
