The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

Close window
If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

5 people commented on this game (newest first):

Some of the puzzles were a bit frustrating, but the dialogues and humor was funny with a bit of schadenfreude to it. And some of the sound effects were hilarious.

Whilst it can easily be mistaken for a team effort, the game was in fact made by a single developer within just under two weeks. The puzzles are very well balanced - intuitive enough to avoid bottlenecks and at the same time challenging enough to be enjoyable, which is a feat by itself. The graphics are clean and consistent, the animations are smooth and pleasant to the eye and the death scenes are so hilarious you will not come even remotely close to being annoyed for having to restore your game.
Highly recommended!

WHAT A GAME!!! This game feels more like it was developed over a year instead of a month!!! I just spent a very happy 2 hours playing this MAGS masterpiece and it is one of the most flawless MAGS games I have ever played. The game pulls you right into its universe without a massive exposition dump all at once (its staggered through the intro and tutorial stages perfectly)...And AND AAAAANNNNDDD: The puzzles!!! The puzzles are wonderful!!! I was SO happy to get stuck on puzzles in this game because I already knew via my experience of earlier puzzles in the game that it was not the game's fault that I was stuck, rather that I, myself, was missing some vital logical step. This is the exact case when I WANT to get stuck for a bit on puzzles, because my mouth starts watering for the AHAA!!! moment when I finally get it because it is going to be just that much more satisfying...Visuals and animation are amazing! There could be one or two more sound effects in certain places (the mag boots linking to the floor could be a nice solid zzzzz-CHUNK) but I understand MAGS time limits...I feel that anyone who plays this game could not contradict this statement: A work of art conjured into being by a master craftsman!!! Overall: Mind-blowing!!
