The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

About this game

A poorly named RPG with Final Fantasy style Combat. Three characters (Thief, Magic User and Fighter) embark on a quest to rid the vale of monsters, collect treasure etc.

The 8 room demo lets you buy & equip weapons, fight a battle, drink in a pub, and has 4 different endings .

3 people commented on this game (newest first):

It's definitely nice to see an RPG type of game, albeit demo. Very short though, but with development, it could turn into a really nice game.

Indeed. Good start as a 'proof of concept', although still a bit awkward and the interface obviously isn't finished yet.
The original graphics give a distinctive feel.

Wade went to a fine extent to create the RPGish status. I applaude at the attempt, mostly because he succedes. While some things could be bettered (namely, the plot, the dialogues, and wouldn't it be nice if those sentences sarted with capital letters?) this demo makes for a Teaser with a capital T. I, for one, am eagerly waiting for the full version - in hopes that those small little things have been taken care of.
