The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

Close window
If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

AGS Panel Review

"Good-looking and atmospheric creepy investigation game. Experienced players may recognize some of the puzzle types."

6 people commented on this game (newest first):

Gameplay is cleverly split between two characters. However, it is way too dark. I was mostly scanning the screen with the mouse for hotspot indications. This really ruined the otherwise great atmosphere for me. Once a hotspot was found, the puzzle solutions were obvious.

A game well made! Decent puzzles, great atmosphere and nice visuals. As previous comments already pointed out, there's a little bit of pixel and hotspot hunting in dark areas, but it didn't really detract from the enjoyment.

Brilliant (or should I say dark?) horror game.

Another good offering by GOC games - in a different style.

The graphics are very dark. It's a little bit like playing Wages of Darkness - a game where you rely only on the caption of the hotspots. But it works and contribute to the ominous atmosphere.

This is a fun and creepy game. It does involve some pixel hunting but I think it was worth it. I would like to see this expanded to a longer game.

Creepy game! Well worth playing, even though there is some pixel hunting involved.
