The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

About this game

This game was made in 14 days. And that's not including most of those days when I was preparing for my English final project. So I really did this in a bout 9 days. I got a 94 on my project, but if this game was being graded, I would get a lot less than that. You can choose to play as Max, or Maggie. They each have different paths. I think I put more effort into Max, but try both!

Here is a tip, talk to a lot of stuff, especially if you are playing as Max. There are some pretty funny things I threw in there, including MY VOICE AS A SOUND EFFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, READ the readme file. The story is pretty clear in the intro, by the way. Max has to become a better actor to win the spot at the MAGS award wideos, and Maggie has to kill the guy who dosen't like him. It is kind of a parody of "American Idol", or "Canadian Idol", or "(insert country here) idol." Stupid reality shows... (Just incase you don't know about the american one, the guy Maggie hates is the one known to be a very critical one, who hates everyone.); Have fun playing.

Not bad, especially playing as Max. It's amazing how far some little touches can go. Some music, some voice (not much, mind you, but enough), some sound effects and a lot of hotspot interaction messages all make this short game fun to play while it lasts. Playing as Maggie isn't as interesting (mind you, I didn't really hunt for all the Easter Eggs) or as well developped at all, though, which is too bad, considering that the "Max" part of the game was pretty good.
