The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

About this game

This is where the ineptly executed Barn Runner saga begins.

What starts as a routine investigation into a missing robot quickly spirals into sinister conspiracies and delicious free cheese samples.

Barn Runner: The Armageddon Eclair is a full-sized game in two chapters that will set you (as Detective Prick Peckard, head of the Robot Crimes Division) hot on the trail of a missing robot as you follow the trail of clues from the Food Courts of your domed city all the way to the untamed green forests of a land that does not officially exist. THRILL to the chase!

FEEL the chill of gruesome crime scenes!

SMELL the free samples of the Food Court!

FLINCH from poorly executed cut-scenes! All this and more awaits you in the world of Barn Runner! CLICK to download the game!

AGS Panel Review

"An amusing pseudo-parody of Blade Runner with a sarcastic, down on his luck hero chasing a rogue robot."

The game is more a graphic novel than a quest. While very well written and nicely drawn, it features puzzles way too scarce and easy. I actually don't remember a puzzle that took more than 15 seconds to solve.

I have a problem with part 2. I entered the right password, the files were extracted, but when I started the game, I got this error:

Very fun games, parts 1 and 2, gotta play the others yet, very excited!

Couldn't agree more with seawana, and I'd nominate this into the AGS awards if it wasn't too late.

Love the graphics and sense of humor. Very funny, great music and puzzles that make sense. Great work. Looking forward to more adventures with Prick!
