The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

Close window
If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

About this game

CQFF is the first game I made with AGS. I made the game for MAGS, a monthly AGS adventuer game creation competition. The guideline was to make a game with animals as characters, so I decided that my cat attempting to escape from the house would make a good little quick game. I actually spent WAY more time than I expected on it, but I'm pretty happy with the end result.

AGS Panel Review

"An amusing day in the life of a cat."

10 people commented on this game (newest first):

Ahh, there is something so endearing about being an animal in an adventure game. And somehow a cat makes the perfect protagonist.

A cat's quest for freedom, if only it could open the front door.

There is a nice points system, and a fair few puzzles to overcome. Graphics not too slick, but overall, a solid good MAGS game.

Good puzzles, good graphics and animations. Nice job SierraFreak dude!

This game is about a cat that was banned from the forum! Why do you ban the people that are telling the truth?

This is great fun, a charming game with funny dialogue and nice puzzles. The music is also excellent.

Very different perspective for a game. Nice puzzles, but a bit too predictable in the end. I liked it!
