The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

AGS Panel Review

"The game shows promise but the grating voice acting of the main character and the narrator are almost unbearable. The jarring inconsistencies between the character art and the cutscenes also hurt the game, though if you can get past the voices you will find an enjoyable little game."

It could work for a sierra or leisure suit larry fan, but I'm neither and the humor is simply offgrade.

There's quite a lot to like about this game, but quite a number of things that just didn't do it for me too. I wonder how the remastered version HS are making will compare to this? I think it helps if you're more a Sierraphile than a Lucasphile (I'm the latter).

Cool game, fun to play, a few moments where you really do let out an audible laugh or chuckle, and overall a good romp type comedy adventure. Sets the bar for commercial games not just in terms of professional approach but also in terms of marketing and support.

I remember seeing this game as being commercial and wondering if it were worth forking out the money....and hesitantly getting my credit card out.

Well I can now look back with no regrets, cos this game was worth the money. *No I haven't been paid to write this*

Professional graphics, good solid puzzling fun, and a nice witty banter between the main character and narrator are all aspects of the game I will miss now that it is over.

I particularly enjoyed winding up the post office worker with all my different items of inventory. And was most concerned when I jumped into bed with ___ and sucked ___ (don't want to give the plot away ^_^)

Well, the main plot was of a quite serious tone, yet the voices were rather comical in nature...In some places it just didn't seem to mix too well, and didn't feel as climactic. It feels wrong, yet unavoidable.

Anyways, will have to look for some more adventure games,...hmm,...where to look......but this will take some beating :

This game deserves to be "pick of the month", but because its commersial we will not include it.

Well, after two years of having this game on the shelf, I finally spent the day playing it. In general I had a good time, although the puzzles were a bit on the easy side and you need to walk around a bit too much. I'm impressed by the quality and quantity of the voice acting and the graphic art is pretty good in general.

The Leisure Suite Larry reminiscence and the tongue-in-cheek humor without becoming gross got a few chuckles out of me.

I'm surprised more people haven't written here. Even though it's a commercial game, it's bang for the buck. Could it be improved? Well, definitely, but still few recent adventure games I've played have the quality (and length) of this one. I would just not recommend it to hardcore gamers looking for deep story, or hard puzzles, or to people with short attention span, since the dialogues are rather long.
