"The game shows promise but the grating voice acting of the main character and the narrator are almost unbearable. The jarring inconsistencies between the character art and the cutscenes also hurt the game, though if you can get past the voices you will find an enjoyable little game."

Well I can now look back with no regrets, cos this game was worth the money. *No I haven't been paid to write this*
Professional graphics, good solid puzzling fun, and a nice witty banter between the main character and narrator are all aspects of the game I will miss now that it is over.
I particularly enjoyed winding up the post office worker with all my different items of inventory. And was most concerned when I jumped into bed with ___ and sucked ___ (don't want to give the plot away ^_^)
Well, the main plot was of a quite serious tone, yet the voices were rather comical in nature...In some places it just didn't seem to mix too well, and didn't feel as climactic. It feels wrong, yet unavoidable.
Anyways, will have to look for some more adventure games,...hmm,...where to look......but this will take some beating :
The Leisure Suite Larry reminiscence and the tongue-in-cheek humor without becoming gross got a few chuckles out of me.
I'm surprised more people haven't written here. Even though it's a commercial game, it's bang for the buck. Could it be improved? Well, definitely, but still few recent adventure games I've played have the quality (and length) of this one. I would just not recommend it to hardcore gamers looking for deep story, or hard puzzles, or to people with short attention span, since the dialogues are rather long.
