About this game

Welcome to ALPHA X - PROJECT: SMASH, and the city of Neo York in the year 2199. You are Rhys Dryden, a detective with Bureau 6, working in department 636, the newly-formed strikeforce to hunt down users and pushers of the notorious and deadly narcotic known as SMASH. You have been tasked with hunting down Zeke Russell, the only SMASH dealer ever to give you the slip, after he murdered another Bureau 6 detective.

Alpha X is a first person cyberpunk adventure, hopefully a prequel to a much larger and more in-depth game. If you like it, please send me a PM about helping out with the sequel :)

The demo for the main game is more entertaining, but this is still a nice game with some good visual screenshots. Puzzles were rather simple, but story was good.

Fun little game, I especially enjoyed the dialogue and atmosphere.

Nice atmosphere and retro first-person interface. Unfortunately the puzzles are way too easy and the pace is too accelerated. It felt like an introductory mission to a far longer game with a contrived story.

I hope to see that one realized one day ;-)

Unsuitable for work warning: I followed the download link, then I clicked on the "[download for] free" button and I was treated to some ads for porn.

Not only that, but I couldn't even download the game. I got: "All download slots assigned to your country (...) are in use." Please remove the download link from this entry. Thank you very much.
