The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

Close window
If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

Well I did get stuck in this game, not realizing I could walk into the bathrooms (how dumb do I feel!)

I love the narrative, and how it goes together with the music to reveal an intense atmosphere, puzzles fairly straight forward but definitely interested in seeing a sequel to this.

Great game... awesome rain effect, cool drawings.... unique story... decent puzzles.

Well, quite a nice game. Unusual but charming graphics and simple interface. Puzzles were fair, mostly inventory based, even if a few were a bit obscure. As for the story it,s typical noir, no unexpected twists. Worth a look.

Great music, especially the one at the bar.
Story and puzzles where ok, the gui was sometimes hard to use.
Nice little game worth playing.

Some say it is too short. It is, because I didn't want to see it end!

Good game, but found darkness a bit of a visual struggle at times. Puzzles were not too difficult and fairly logical.

Cool story and logical puzzles. Unfortunately I found some of the music very annoying, so annoying in fact I turned the music off completely. The first room that had the annoying music was the office, I bared through it and hoped the rest would be better, then I got to the warehouse and I just couldn't take it anymore I had to turn the music off.

I loved this game because of:
1. the GREAT music
2. the interesting story (even if it was not very original)
3. the black and white graphics
4. the clever easy puzzles.

I wish though the game was longer!

I am looking forward to the end of the mystery with a second part!

It was ok, not too challenging though. One puzzle got me stuck, but otherwise you can complete it pretty fast.
