The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

Close window
If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

About this game

It's Easter again... ugh!!!

Three days before Rigatoni and Edna McCracken were to hold their annual Easter dinner, Edna received a mysterious package in the mail. Inside was a sadistic device fouler than anyone alive could comprehend: The Casserole-O-Matic.

Now, it's up to their nephew, Jeffrey McCracken, to shut the machine down for good, but can he survive a visit to his aunt and uncle's house without dying a grisly death at the hands of his own demented family?

Jeffrey's epic quest through his Aunt Edna and Uncle Rigatoni's house is fraught with perils, including the expansive McCracken family - a massively obese uncle with an IQ of 16, a younger cousin who's so sickeningly sweet it just might kill you, and a grandfather who's under the impression that he could one day become the world's next rap idol - a freaky array of tools n' toys, and a mass of testosterone fueled uncles hell-bent on making sure that Christmas won't be coming for a long, long time! Can you survive this zany adventure?

Some really nice ideas here (turkey harness for instance, and the whole macaroni character...) Only I guess you ran out of time when it came to the grand end sequence?

This was a nice game, pretty long and varied. However the puzzles were pretty wierd, sometimes they didn't make sense at all, or you just strayed from one place to another wondering what you were supposed to do.

I couldn't get into the character, I guess that there is not enough background information. Or maybe I hate whiny kids ;-)

There is something I liked about this game, I just can't quite put my finger on it. So I suggest you play it and decide by yourself.
