The problem with all these redirects from User: pages to articles, is that it makes it much harder for people to put messages in a user's user talk page, like this one. :It seemed like it was the most common method of user page setup. I was just trying to make everything consistent. Perhaps this deserves some discussion (probably elsewhere) where the people in charge can put in their opinions and make a decision on this?
