For the first time in years, the nominations were not dominated by commercial games, with ''Zniw Adventure'' the only commercial AGS title nominated, ultimately winning in three categories. However, the big winner of the night was [[Postmodern Adventures]], whose two games ''Urban Witch Story'' and ''Billy Masters Was Right'' took nine awards total. This meant that despite 11 nominations, ''Off The Clock'' was shut out, winning no awards. Best MAGS Game of the Year ([[MAGS#The_MAGGIES|MAGGIES]] 2020), a separate contest but announced together with the AGS Awards, was won by ''The Cabin''. | ||
