AdventureX is a small gaming exposition held in the UK on an annual basis since 2011. Members of the AGS community are invited to speak and showcase their adventure games. Special guests give talks about their work. Upcoming games are available to play. AdventureX is usually held around the Christmas season and is a 2 day event open to the public.

2011

In 2011 AdventureX was held at Didcot Labour Club in Didcot, Oxfordshire (UK) on December 16th and 17th and was organized by m0ds.

Special guests were Chris Bateman (Discworld Noir), Neil Rennison (Tin Man Games), Chris Jones (AGS), Alasdair Beckett (Nelly Cootalot: Spoonbeaks Ahoy!)

Featured game presentations: Infamous Adventures (Space Quest 2 Remake), Tomasz Kaczmarek (Sens3s)

This year the event was ticketed, costing about £15 to attend for both days.

2012

In 2012 the show was held at University of East Anglia in central London. The key organizers were m0ds, AGA and Azure.

Special guests were Jon Ingold, Stephen Marley, Dave Gilbert and Alex Warren.

A selection of exhibitors and people demonstrating games, including several members of the AGS community including CaptainD, Andail, Steffano and Technocrat.

This year the event was free to attend, however it was funded through an IndieGoGo campaign.

2013

The show returned on 7th and 8th December again at UEAL in central London, organized by m0ds, AGA and Azure.

With special guests Charles Cecil, Steve Ince, Tim Child and Mark Estdale.

Ali provided a "Choose Your Own Adventure" interactive segment, there was an Adventure Game Room 101 feature and a Live stream.

This year the event was free to attend, however guests were encouraged to buy a VIP Key Card to help fund the event. There was also a charity contribution of £75.

It was the 2nd but last event at UEAL as the University moved to a new premesis in 2014.

2014

AdventureX will return for a 4th year at a new venue, Keyworth Centre, South Bank University - still in central London.

It will take place on 6th & 7th of December, with special guests Jon Hare, Dr. Ernest Adams and Josué Monchan.
