AdventureX is a gaming exposition held in the UK on an annual basis since 2011. Members of the AGS, adventure game and wider videogaming community are invited to speak and showcase their works. Special guests give talks about their work. Upcoming games are available to play. AdventureX is usually held around the Christmas season or some time in Q4 and is a 2 day event open to the public.

History

In 2003 m0ds discussed forming an adventure game expo with Adventure Gamers founder Marek at ECTS gaming expo at Earls Court, London. Several attempts were made to hold an event but did not progress, until 2011. Despite numerous locations hosting the event, its popularity has grown over the years, with visitor numbers increasing year on year. In 2016 the event was rebranded as "the narrative games convention".
