The American Girl Scouts logo

American Girl Scouts is the hostname used by AGS community members for one of the sites on their shared server. It hosts the AGS wiki, a file uploader and various other sites, that actually sit on the same shared server.

The name is used because is has the same initials as AGS. There are many other organisations with these initials too: see Wikipedia's disambiguation page.

The name was originally spawned because a number of AGS community members played the popular online shooter Counter-Strike: Source with the [AGS] clan tag (despite not technically being a clan). The [AGS] tag often raised the question of what it stood for, to which the members often replied 'American Girl Scouts'.
