The only way you're ever going to become a better artist to work at it. Draw, paint, read tutorials, take a class etc. There is no reason that you couldn't do better then that.

So either work it at, or get someone else to do your graphics. Those are you choices.

Yeah the plant looks weird not having an outline like everything else.
Next time you are unsure of perspective it's probably best to post it before you've added such detail!

Looks good, nice and clean. The background displays fine as far as I can tell.
The only problem is the title image is getting overlapped a bit by the main block on my screen. You must be running a higher res then me. When you resize your browser smaller it gets even worse.

If you can, make something as a vector, because logos and such are the kind of graphic you want as a vector because it's easier to do things with them.

I would much rather play a game witha cleaner background. I like the colours and composition of this one, but it seems to messy and undefined.

Added a bit of colour because of the yellow light, and it warms it up a bit.

Is there anything else you'd like to me say to make you feel better, even though I don't mean it?  :=

The thing I didn't like about it before, and I hate to have to repeat this again and again, is the unrealisitic black lines the most, and the boring flat single colour of the wall. I posted a reference image, but he went with totally different looking bricks, yes they are sharp, with high contrast. At least it's interesting.

Every edge on the image is sharp right now. All of them.

I think the textures look fantastic.
Babar, how did those dark lines NOT look painted on, or should I say, look realistic at all? Especially considering the lightsource.

And I never meant specifically to use a photo to add a texture to it by the way, I meant give it texture. Anyways, I think it looks a lot better now. Before it was boring and cartoonish.

I don't like the new lines on the back while, they look painted on. If you want it to look like concrete you should add some sort of texture, like this perhaps:


If you want the door, the cabinet or the vent to appear metallic then you should add reflections.

Yep, references are the best, a tree you can easily look outside, or just use Google Image Search, I use that A LOT.

His torso is quite skinny compared to his hips/legs now.

Is there a reason for the dithering? Otherwise you should try and clean it up a bit.
