This week's topic is ...
Bird's Eye Retro Racers

That's right!  Create a sprite in the style of your favorite classic racing game.  Doesn't have to be a car/truck.  Think space ships, motorcycles, horses ... you name it!  If it races, sprite it!!

Parameters:
Colors: 25 MAX
Size: 100x100 MAX
Style: must be top down perspective (animated is a HUGE plus!!)

Picture size 100x100, just the sprite 70x67 bit large, I know :x.

Car Description: 84' Chevy with side turent gun, tire slashers, roof rockets, and front
steel rods. Also comes with extra cupholders, and side door airbags. 

I tried to style it like the Biker Mice From Mars (as in coloring) game from the SNES.

The first one is 100x100, the second one is only bigger because he has enlarged it, so he hasn't really made it too big as he has posted the original 100x100 one as well. So I dont think he has too make it smaller.

 u1bd2005, Are you sure you're talking about the right guy? SilverTrumpet's sprite has way higher resolution than 100x100.

Dracula in the Nightmaster V!

After his last defeat at the hands of Van Helsing's Suncross, Dracula sent his engineers back to the drawing board to come up with an even deadlier machine, this time featuring two primary offensive weapons and an infernal smokescreen! 

Now it can fly!







Felt like starting on a new car, this time for Frankenstein's Monster.  The bulb things are supposed to be those big Van De Graaff generators from the Karloff version that stick out and create an electrical shield around the Monster's car.  I'm not sure whether I like it or not though, it makes it more comedic having a huge visible monster driving it.

Can AGS easily make games in an aerial point of view with sprites in this style? sounds cool and easy to do with tiles! ^_^
