Animation competision winners announced(22 August to 5th September)

Rules:

A sprite is supplied, with a theme.
Participants must use the given sprite for their animation
Each competition will last 14 days
The starter of each competition will decide on the winner.
The winner, who will decide on the next competition's theme, must also supply a sprite.

Theme
What happens next? (This is an egg btw).
I know this may seem lame but it leaves a lot of room for everyone to be as creative as possible.

Trophies are ready. Sorry about the poor attempt at a facehugger but I didn't have much time to do it in. Only first place is sort of animated but you are welcome to animate your own trophy if you so wish.

Nice! Althrough it would hurt brains less if you would loop it better. I mean showing how did the egg get in the nest.

Sorry, but I can't understand. The animation starts at the same point of Maverick's sprite, so I think there's no need to show the egg arriving in the nest.

Domino, why don't you give it a try? Animating is not too difficult, and even if the result isn't as good as you wanted, it's a good exercise. And I like your avatar

I'm Working on one of my own, But I'm a newb so... I'm Having Difficulties to say the least... I've got someone who's gonna help fix my issues here in a few though.

I judged the comp based on the following:
1)   How well the original theme was carried by the animation
2)   How fluid the animation is
3)   Creativity
4)   Overall effort put in to produce the end result

The final standing:
1st place Petazzo
2nd place Lionmonkey
3rd place NiKCeleste (Very good first attempt so don't give up. The second part is a little jerky and would have worked a lot better with more frames)

Over to you Petazzo.
