Yufster, how did you do his legs? They look far too spindly to support themselves. Snowmen normally favour standing on a kind of legless belly.

These pictures make me think there should be a snow / snowmen themed MAGS.

The snowman is sitting on the bench! no need to support no more than the weight of the legs. I've done the same thing in 1996... (no digital cameras back then)
