Faerie Tale Creature

No Colour or Size limit, be as adventures as you like, it just has to be animateable . :D
Bonus points for Backgrounds and animations.

Victor6

Just to clarify, does it actually have to be from a faerie tale, or is stabbing the AD&D monstrous manual to pick a page acceptable?

SookieSock

Near enough anything can come under the title "Faerie Tale" if you argue it right. :P

Victor6

Not an entry, but more of a make up numbers affair.

I reserve the right to amend the picture, or replace it with something sissy like a unicorn,  depending on how much I drink over the next 2 weeks.

loominous

Got a bit carried away with the background, but here it is:

Armageddon

What program do you use? You're too epic. :P

Dualnames

Worked on Strangeland, Primordia, Hob's Barrow, The Cat Lady, Mage's Initiation, Until I Have You, Downfall, Hunie Pop, and every game in the Wadjet Eye Games catalogue (porting)

Monk

Tossing a coin and hope on luck.. here goes :)

Voting!
Vote for your favourite and most usable sprite.

Then the power of choosing won't go to my head. ;D

I would like to propose a motion for permanantly banning loominous and progZ from the Competitions and Activities subforum.

Edited by mod: Don't quote images, especially huge ones. :P

^640x440 is huge? O_o

Dualnames

Honestly loominous is great, but JimReed's pig, just makes me wanna sprite!! ;)

Hmm, now that you mention it, I don't remember seeing Progz posting anything for any of the competitions for a while now. He must be busy.

Crimson Wizard

Loominous sprite is too good :P
Victor6's sprite is too standart (it looks like he has a SNES-style sprite conveyor there :D)
So I vote for Monk's goblin.

What's with Jim Reed's entry? I vote for that butterfly pig!

Calin Leafshade

I also vote for the butterfly pig!

Loominous' was lovely but I can't see how easy it would be to actually use it in a game as a 'sprite'

kconan

Victor6

Another vote for the flying pig.

I resent that allegation!......I use slave labor.

*whips gnomes*

Jim Reed

Monk, definitly, though the left ear looks kinda out of perspective.

I dig the leprechaun, but as far as a sprite with a clean, readily usable style goes I yield a vote to the infamous, the magnanimous, that all around Croation-creation, Jim Reed.
