The Lurker listens to Stupot's first guess of "Pinhead" and says "While I do admire your courage at making a guess already I must sadly say that, while I do respect the work of Pinhead, this guess is quite incorrect."

Does the parasite eat a particular body substance (e.g., a hormones)?
Does the parasitic collect energy by absorbing certain feelings of his victim?
Is the parasite able to take over/control the body of his victim?

Kumpel

Game specific question: Can we talk at each other in here about our assumptions on which questions may have been turned?

Is the parasitic connection, the betrayer is trying to establish, eventually leading to the death of the victim?
Did the betrayer ever die for good on screen?
Is the betrayer sometimes inactive for a longer time span (months, years, centuries...)?

Stupot

Does the betrayer speak a human language?
Does the betrayer wear clothes?
Does the betrayer target children?

Yes, the players are free to discuss anything they like about the game in here but, like I said before, let's just keep it in here.

The assumption is that the characters, trapped in their chairs as they are, can only speak out loud for everyone to hear, including the betrayer and The Lurker.

But yes, go ahead!

Mandle

Sorry for the delay. RL issues. Updating soon!

Also: it seems I may have underestimated how hard this round would be.

New Rule: If a question asked in a previous round is re-asked then the betrayer must use both of his/her/its "action points" to re-change that answer.

(Sorry for rules changes/updates but this is new for me too)

To compensate for the new power the innocents have just gained I have also granted the betrayer a new power which will only be in effect behind the scenes and will not affect anything the innocents see.

It only slightly helps the betrayer possibly figure out who his/her/its character is before the innocents do, which will aid him/her/it in selecting which questions to alter, and also come under consideration by The Lurker when he/she/it decides which side did the better job: If the betrayer figures it out first that could tip the scales in his/her/its favour. But it's not an auto-win. The Lurker (me, as GM) will look back over the entire challenge and judge as he/she/it views most fair.

I think this round is now fairly balanced. There will be no further rule updates.

On with the show!

I think the secret identity one is turned. Also the ordinary weapons question. It sounds more like a supernatural being.

Here is my first guess: Freddy Krueger

The next update will be about 12-15 hours from now most likely.

Which wouldn't be the case, if my guess were right, right? (laugh)
Well then, here's a new bunch of qs:

Is the betrayer only killing if the victim is in a certain state of consciousness?
Is the betrayer aware that he/she is a killer?
Has the betrayer visited or been in a fight with other killers in movie history?

Cassiebsg

* Cassiebsg wispers in fear of the GM... 8-0

- You guys do realize that if you don't ask more than 4 questions per update, then all answers will be true? Sure it'll take a little longer to get to the right answer, but might be worth it? ;)
There are those who believe that life here began out there...

Kumpel

You should reread the game rules, Cassie ;)

Riaise

So the betrayer hasn't figured it out yet, then? Not that it helps me, I still don't have a clue! (laugh)

Here's one more question in the meantime:

Does the betrayer act nice towards their victims before turning nasty?

Stupot

#1938
I think all the questions relating to it being a parasite are red herrings.

Does the betrayer live in the sewers?
Does the betrayer take the form of its victims' greatest fears?
Does it take the form of a clown for a large part of its existence?

I think you can guess where I'm heading.

I'm not sure if this question means killers from other franchises or during the onscreen history of the character. I think it's the former, so I will go with that meaning.
