Hi! I got a message when I tried to load a digital spell savegame:

Illegal exception

An exception 0xC0000005 occured in ACWIN.EXE at EIP = 0x0043A590; program pointer is +6, ACI version 2.50.395, gtags (4,0)

AGS cannot continue, this exception was fatal. Please note down the numbers above, remember what you were doing at the time and notify CJ on the Tech forum.

I use Win2k btw.

Hmm, it's some sort of script string problem, but without seeing the game source code, I'm afraid I can't really help any more than that.

It may also be due to a bug which existed in AGS at the time with restoring save games - see if you can run the game with the latest AGS engine and see if that helps at all.
