I saved in some games the game, in a resolution of 640x400 in a window.
And then some time after that, I runned the game in the 320x200 resolution full screen, and tried to load the game, but the game crashed, with the error "AGS could not load the saved game, because it was stored in an inproper resolution".

Could this be a bug, or do you already know of it. I tried it in some more games, and it gave the same error.

This is not a bug, it always acts like that.

There was a note about this in the Pleurghburg manual... Has this got somehing to do with the cordinate thingy? Like if in hi res character stands in y 253, which would be then 126 and a half in lo res, and AGS cannot put the character there?
I used to make games but then I took an IRC in the knee.

You cannot load a game saved at a different resolution.

This is for the reasons TK mentions about in-game co-ordinates. It would be possible for AGS to convert all the co-ordinates when it loaded the save game, but there are a lot of them that would need converting, and bugs would be bound to creep in.

In short, adding this feature would cause more headaches than it's worth.
