Title: Any chance of porting AGS to Dreamcast
Post by: on Thu 23/09/2004 22:21:05
I have only messed around a little bit with ags, its actually fun working on a game. and i was wondering if the makers of the program would think about/contemplate porting it for the dreamcast, possibly using dc linux. Thanks

Forgive me very much, but why do nearly all newcomers talk about CJ in plural? I remember when I discovered AGS it clearly said about everywhere that AGS is a single man project with no firm future chart at all.. sort of. Now that didn't make sense, right? (Didn't make a scythe... har!)

You know why they refer to CJ in plural? Its becouse a program like this noone ever thought would be made from just one man! Heck, SCUMM and other engines I am sure had some help.

I think pumaman should be changed to "CJ the Incredible one man programming machine" !

To confirm, there will not be any console ports of AGS in the forseeable future. The architectures are just too different, I'm afraid.
