MIDI only plays when Media Player is playing something else (SOLVED)

I've got midis set to play, yet they only play (in the background) when I have WMP playing something else. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Check your computer midi volume is set at the top.
Dont forget, midi volume is apart from the other volumes
