I think it would be interesting if there were an option to run
a game (not the editor of course) in  a window, with transparent background, and without the standard windows frame.   I don't know how much trouble it would be to implement this or if it's worth the effort.  Although this is, admittedly, of marginal utility, the cool factor is huge :).

The first major practical problem that comes to mind is - if the window didn't come up where you wanted it on the screen, there'd be no way to move it around ;)

CJ:  You got me there :).    I didn't say this was necessarily a good idea, just interesting and kind of cool.  How about using a mouse drag anywhere in the window, where  there were no other interactions defined,  to move?

I suppose the larger point is that there are more of these "gotchas" lurking about, making this more trouble than it's worth.

CJ: Maybe you can implement the windows-API in the script, so that they can program such cool stuff (frameless, transparent, screen-savers,...) themselves.  ;D

Actually, it may well be possible for a plugin to remove the window frame using the Windows API, but I'm not sure about that.

But yeah Rick, it does sound cool, but I'm not sure it's something I'll consider a priority to implement :)

RickJ

CJ:  I agree that it's not a priority, but I thought I would at least plant the idea.  Who knows what might happen the next time you get bored?  ;D
