Can't create new game with Beta version

I know that Beta versions aren't around for very long, but since I never bothered to download the Release Candidates, I still have Beta 4, and it won't let me create a new game. It tells me to choose a template, and there are none. Is this intentional? Or do I have to dig up some templates from a previous version?

It's the same with 2.55, if you haven't got a template, you can't start a new game. Must've been a miss from Chris not to include any template file with the BETA4, or he just thought that people have templates from the old versions and didn't bother.

In order to do this idea I had, I need to use AGS.
In order to use AGS, I need a downloader program (it won't download fully).
Mine won't work, so in order to get a downloader, I have to find one online.
Meh. It's a never ending battle.

You want the standard empty one or the one in which I've deleted almost all sprites?

Beta versions do not include all files, in order to keep the file size down. You have to copy the template from the previous official version (in this case, 2.55).
