When entering the order's HQ and getting caught by the brother in the shed, the game just goes *BOOM* and I get this error message:

Code: ags

An internal error has occured. Please note down the following information.
If the problem persists, contact Chris Jones.
(ACI version 2.61.747)

Error: run_text_script1: error -6 (Runtime error: function 'repeatedly_execute_always' not found) running function 'room_a'

I do not have any clue about what to do with this information, other than posting it here.

Happy day,

Well, PDA was compiled by a rather old version of AGS, so it is possible that it doesn't work under the run-time engine of 2.61.
I'd suggest download another (older) version of the linux-ported engine; say 2.54, and see if it works then.

Thank you for the quick reply. But I don't think your suggestion is an option for me, since I can not be sure that it works. And  loading of saved games from different versions will not work and I'd have to play the game from the beginning again.
I think that's bad luck.

What they said is right, there is no guarantee that a game compiled with older versions of the engine will work with newer versions. Your only choice may be using an older release I've posted on the AGS Linux site. Yes, this will mean you can't use your savegames, etc.

This issue is a bug in the v2.61 runtime.

It has since been fixed in the latest betas and so will be fixed in 2.62; also, v2.60 SP1 did not have this problem.

Therefore, the solution is indeed to run it with the previous version of the runtime; unfortunately this does mean you'll have to start over, for which I apologise.
