Title: Error stopping me from testing my game
Post by: RyanPiezo on Mon 21/07/2008 21:13:16
Hi there. I just finished drawing up all my character animations for when they walk and I imported the sprites and set the views as always. I hit F5 to try and test it and I got this error:

---------------------------
Illegal exception
---------------------------
An exception 0xC0000005 occurred in ACWIN.EXE at EIP = 0x7228D7B0 ; program pointer is -188, ACI version 3.02.1025, gtags (0,0)

AGS cannot continue, this exception was fatal. Please note down the numbers above, remember what you were doing at the time and notify CJ on the Tech forum.

Most versions of Windows allow you to press Ctrl+C now to copy this entire message to the clipboard for easy reporting.

An error file CrashInfo.dmp has been created. You may be asked to upload this file when reporting this problem on the AGS Forums. (code 0)
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

I didn't import the sprites any differently then told to or how I have in the past. Any help is appreciated, thanks

Are you getting this error consistently? Can you upload the crash dump file?
