Title: Exporting backgrounds? (AGS Editor)
Post by: Hollister Man on Wed 26/11/2003 22:33:44
I have the source code and room files for a game I am working on, but I cannot figure out if there is a way to "export" the original background files to disk.  The main bg can be copied, but the animating background frames cannot.  Is there a simple way I am missing?  This should really be an option, since sometimes we back up the game files, but the originals get lost.

I can do a "printscreen" if I absolutely have to.

Currently only the main background can be exported from the editor.

Crumbs... Oh well.  I can do it the hard way.  We have the source files, but since we are working on a game that someone else started, we don't have the original artwork.  Thanks for letting me know anyway, CJ.

I'll add it to my list to add an export feature.

Thanks.  The most recent additions will be a significant help already.  We were planning on using RunAGSGame to make examples of separate GUIs, but now they can all be included without cluttering the G Script.  Thanks a million CJ
