Title: Fatal Error. Complicated bunch of numbers inside.
Post by: rtf on Sat 03/04/2004 03:02:10
Is it just me or is nothing working right?

I was testing my game and before the screen started up, it gave me on of those fatal error messages.
Follows:
Quote

---------------------------
Illegal exception
---------------------------
An exception 0xC0000005 occured in ACWIN.EXE at EIP = 0x0042352B ; program pointer is +379, ACI version 2.61.723, gtags (39,0)

AGS cannot continue, this exception was fatal. Please note down the numbers above, remember what you were doing at the time and notify CJ on the Tech forum.

Most versions of Windows allow you to press Ctrl+C now to copy this entire message to the clipboard for easy reporting.

Please help.

Thanks in advance.

I was simply testing the game.
It worked in the morning, but for some reason, it diddn't work later on in the evening when I got the message.

Could you upload the game so that I can take a look? Does it happen every time now?

Hmmm what did you put in the game_start() global script function?

Thanks for uploading your game; however, I was unable to replicate the problem.

Does it happen to you every time, or was it just the once?
