Icon editor in help file

I know the subject line doesnt seem like this will belong here. The suggested icon editor in the help file states to try the ax software. I downloaded and created an icon, and all was good. except that it seems this program doesn't create 32 by 32 images in 16 colors. everything above, and everyhing below.

so im know wondering if there could be a change in the mandatory settings for icons, or not.



(I tried making 32 by 32s of all color types, but none were allowed by the editor.)

Last time I tried the ax-icons software I had no problems creating a 32x32x16 icon. If it no longer works for some reason, then perhaps we need to find an alternate icon editor to recommend.

I use a program called Pixeltoolbox, which works pretty well.  http://www.axiomx.com/PixelToolbox/

Yes, but what version of Ax? They don't have their previous versions up for download.


And yes, I suppose I was also bringing this up as to think of new suggestions for the help file. I'll check out the other ones mentioned, thanks.
