Title: Feature Request - Plugin's directory
Post by: am on Fri 23/05/2003 16:00:35
How about a directory for plugins so they won't clutter the AGS's main directory?
also automatic coping of plugin to compiled directory if they aren't allready there.
I think this shouldn't be too much of a problem to implement.

Actually AGS already do it otherwise you couldn't run the game which uses the plugin. There is a situation when you need to place some dlls manually - it's when the plugin uses another dll, AGS has no means of.

A plugins folder is a possibility, but then we'd just get posts here from people who didn't notice it saying "the plugin doesn't work" because they didn't put it in the right place.

So I see what you're saying, but I'll leave it for now.
