when i play my game in full screen the screen goes black and then i get a message saying that my signal frequency is out of range
What kind of display are you using (CRT or LCD)?
What resolution is your game at?
Try running setup of your game and if your game is a low res. one (320x200 or 320x240) try running it in the double resolution (640x400 or 640x480), also try unchecking the 85 Hz checkbox if it's checked.
im using a lcd screen and my game is 320 x 200
Have you tried playing around with the setup options then?

The second one. There's a winsetup.exe for every game.

would you be able to guide me through it...im really new at this lol
Set the filter to x2; this will change the top resolution from 320 to 640, then use that setting to play the game.
(DON'T switch the resolution, always use the x2 filter to set the game to 640.)

how do i get to that option
In the game's directory, run winsetup.exe.
(Extract the game to a directory first, if necessary.)
Are you making a game or playing someone else's game?
If you're making your own game, you need to use the Build EXE command and then choose the "Run game setup" option from the Build menu.
thanks everyone it works now:)
