I'm having problems running this one. The message I get is:
Quote from: AGS v2.61
an exception 0xC0000005 occured in ACWIN.EXE at EIP = 0xBFF9BB6B (strcpy/strcat); program pointer is +0, ACI version 2.61.747, gtags (0,0)
All I did was double-click on the icon to run game...
Thanks for reporting this. Unfortunately, it's made with quite an old version of AGS so it's no longer supported. You could try turning the sound off in the Setup program and see if that helps.
I reinstalled the game on my newer system, and it ran just fine.
CJ, what is the error and what causes it? Is there a way I could easily patch it?
I'm not sure, to be honest. You could try using the AGS 2.71 ACWIN.EXE to run the game, following the steps here:

Would recompiling the game with the new version of AGS do the trick? I still have the complete game files laying around here somewhere.
Thanks for such a quick response!
EDIT: The game was made with AGS 261 by the way.
Oh sorry, I didn't realise you were the game's author ;)
Yep you could try recompiling with 2.71, it's certainly worth a try.
UPDATE: The recompiled version works just fine for biorogue. Anyone have any idea what the crucial difference was? I'm stumped. ???

AGS has had various bug fixes between 2.61 and 2.71, it's hard to say which bug exactly it might have been.
Ah! Maddeningly vague, but it answers the question. Thank you, CJ.
Whatever it was, the new version did the trick. I guess I'll have to recompile the old games with the new build of AGS and replace the old links on the games page.
Now I have a project to work on during lunch!
