Title: Low Mouse Resolution in Fullscreen
Post by: on Wed 11/05/2005 02:03:01
Hello. I've been lurking at this board for a while and enjoying all the great games made with AGS. It's revived my love of adventure games. Now, on with my problem. When I run any AGS game in fullscreen mode, the mouse movement seems to be in ultra low resolution. The mouse jumps between two positions for the height and three for the width in 640x400, and one position for the height and two for the width in 320x200.  Know of any solutions? I am using Windows XP Service Pack 2. Thanks!

Hmmm maybe you can try messing with the mouse settings from the control panel of XP and see if that helps.

Yeah, it's worth playing with your mouse speed settings in control panel.

If your normal Windows resolution is say 1600x1200, you'll probably have the mouse speed set quite high so that you can move around the screen easily, but then when the game runs at low-res, this will look choppy.
