Title: MIDI music glitch?
Post by: Radiant on Sun 19/08/2007 22:38:20
I have a slight problem with some MIDI files in AGS. While they play normally, they sound rather creaky, as if played through really old speakers. If I open the same files in WinAmp, they sound normal. Also, most other MIDI files, as well as MP3/OGG/WAV, plays fine in AGS. An example of a MIDI that creaks is the opening track of Warthogs.

Does anyone recognize this problem?

Could you upload a MIDI file (perhaps that one from Warthogs) that demonstrates the problem?

Certainly.

Although I suspect the problem is my sound card, not in AGS (since nobody to my knowledge complained about crackling music in Warthogs). Still, if a workaround exists I'd be happy to hear it.
