Well, it's been a couple of years since this forum was created, and in that time people have come and gone; some have visited the forum more regularly, some less so.
In view of this, I'd like to thank Spyros and rodekill for all their hard work as moderators here over the years, but I feel it's time for the moderators to better reflect the current regular attendees of the forum. :)
Therefore, I'd like to invite Scorpiorus and strazer to join Gilbert as Technical forum moderators. I'd also like to take the opportunity to thank Gilbert for sticking with it all this time. :)
I hope nobody takes offense to this decision -- in particular, I'd like to make clear that no offense is intended to Spyros or rodekill, they've been a great help as moderators here. This is a purely practical decision.
Thanks to Scorpiorus and strazer for agreeing to help out, though as ever I hope that the need for moderation will remain as rare as it has been in the past.
:)
Congrats guys, I'm sure you'll do a good job. He probably forgot to mention it, but part of your responsibility is to badger CJ into updating AGS more often, you know ;)
My respects to them all...
And indeed they all have given such wonderful advice and help to the forums.
Grats to the new Mods ;D
*Salutes*
Thanks guys! :)
I'll do my best to meet the high level and quality of moderation work we have being having for years; I'm sure strazer is with me on that.

Hehe... Thank
god (CJ), AGS has already been developed into a very powerful and incredibly flexible adventure game creation tool and almost all can be attained if the effors are made. Statistically, we get about three-four new complete versions each year, and still, AGS is constantly being improved encouraging the community to produce a lot of excellent games.

I do second that!
By the way, back in 2001 when I had just downloaded AGS, read the manual (apparently not very well :)) and played with the studio, I got a newbish question and went to the ezboard forums to ask for a help. It was Spyros who replyied in the next few minutes resolving all the problems I had. :)
I would like to thank Spyros and rodekill for their time too.Ã, This forum has always been clean and well moderated.Ã, Thanks, of course, to Gil as well.
And congrats to Scorpiorus and Strazer on attaining moderator-hood!
I was, at first, a little on the nervous side about it [moderating], but really the only difference is that all those times you've read a post and thought, "well that's just not a tech forum question ... somebody should move it straight away!!"Ã, Well ... now you can do just that!
You'll both do great!
Congrats again!
No offense taken at all.
/me gives the thumbs up on the decision.
Thank you all for the warm welcome. :)
Thankfully there has not been much need for moderation around here but I'll do my best.
Kudos, and good luck with it all!
Well, I want to thank spyros especially for the Loom template he did, here mainly because I don't really see him anywhere in the forums. I'm pretty new around here, so I don't know how well of a job he did, but I'm sure he did great. Yeah.
Anyone called me? ;)
I second Strazer!!!
I know it doesn't really matter what I say, in moderator noms, but I'd like to say I've found Strazer to be one the, absolutely, most helpful member of the tech-forums!!
DC, look at the dates. I've been a moderator for some time now.
But thanks for your vote. ;)

Hey Spyros, how's things? :)
Yeah, Spyros, how's your daughter?
By the way, haven't seen most of the GAC members lately (except Helm), but Danny did popped up once last week, and now Spyros. Would that mean anything?
Sure it does. THEY'RE TRYING TO TAKE OVER THE PLACE!1!! AAARGH!!11! :=
Spryos has a daughter? I never thought he was that old :o ... ;D So is spyros coming back? I mean September - April = 7 months since I posted that and then he went and dug it back up again...At first I thought this was something new...
No, he's not back. He just came to post that one message, just for you.
...Yes, I think he's back :=
