Title: Mods...A little help over here, "User does not exist"
Post by: on Sat 26/07/2003 21:36:58
I was just posting over in the Critic's Lounge, and I logged out after changing my profile.  Well, now when I log in it says,

QuoteAn Error Has Occurred!

Username does not exist. - Hollister Man: *******

Help me!  Can't post in forum......can't go on........

No.  Go click on the link to my profile in the Critic's lounge (or anwhere you find a post while I was logged in.)  It will tell you that my profile does not exist.  I think I somehow got my profile erased.

Heh perhaps you hit 'delete user ' instead of 'change profile'

I always worry about doing that. ._.

Hmm yes, either you hit "Delete user" by accident, or something wibbly happened to the database ._.

Either way, I've restored your profile from the last forum backup, which was 3 weeks ago. Therefore, any changes you made since then have been lost, and your post count will be back to how it was 3 weeks ago. Better than nothing, I guess.

No problemo.  Thanx CJ.  I could have hit the delete link by accident, I didn't even know there was one.  I think I got disconnected while changing my profile, since instead of a confirm screen it brought up a "page could not be displayed" page.  As CJ said "wibbly."  Thanks again.
