Hello dear Plugin Developers (or programmers as you prefer!)

Our infamous game ( :P), Roger Foodbelly, is in need for a plugin which is able to play flash files (swf - several or something. With the possibility to play music, voices, and sounds in the background!)

netmonkey has done most of it, it seems.. Here's what he said:

To integrate flash into MSN chris would have to buy the Macromedia Flash SDK and then there's the whole licensing issue. I tried making a plugin once where it used MFC (in other words, it would be only for windows games) to play the flash files, but I think it conflicted with something in ags (allegro) and just froze the program....  I don't know if anyone else would like to investigate more on this method I tried; you're welcome to.

If anyone would bother to find the problem and get their name in the credits (or some cash), please reply!

netmonkey is included in this!

Here's the original thread.. type.. thingy.. :P

I hope someone is able to help!

On beforehand, thanks!

Can't you just save the flash swf as an avi? I might be wrong that there is no such option in macromedia flash... but then you can still use a desktop recorder, to record your playing flash and save it as a movie file.

Flash will always look a zillion times better than AVI and also they're a zillion times smaller.

Plus, it won't require any form of codec, since most users already have Flash installed.
AND it will run a lot smoother ;) (No frame skipping or that stuff)
