I was playing this game called Hookey McPegleg Pirate Postman and every time i get to a certain point in the game it just quits.

I get to the part where you steam open the letter from Doctor Die Vie Ess, go to Scids Bar and give him the letter and as soon as i use the letter on him it just quits and sometimes my PC restarts
I am running windows XP.

The error is :
Error:Process Event: An Inventory Event was used, But the Data cloumn was not set.
I'm afraid the version of AGS that the game was made with is so old that I can no longer support it.
It looks like a scripting error in the game but it was made too long ago for me to properly track down, unfortunately.
