Title: Palmtop AGS?
Post by: SSH on Mon 26/05/2003 16:52:40
I noticed that ScummVM runs on Palmtops, has anyone ever looked at the feasibility of porting AGS to PalmOS or WinCE?

At the current time, these OS's do not support enough of DirectX or have enough RAM to support AGS properly. Also, as I do not have a palmtop there's no way I could test it either.

Well, you can get a free PalmOS emulator at
http://www.palmos.com

Of course, not having directX must be a little complication  ;D

Shall we all save up and get CJ a Sony Clie?

Great idea,
I would like to be able to write Adventures for my m515  ...

However, I'm not sure AGS can be made palm-compatible without major re-writing, Palm is a completly diffrent system.

Aren't there adventure engines made for CE? I think someone here was working on an adventure for some palm computer a while ago..
