Howdy. I'd just like to throw this up into the air, see if any plugin-coder will pick it up. I know it's not standard fare in adventure games, but it might be useful in detective-style games and other games where "vieweing videos" and freezing frames may be helpful. Also it brings to mind the old "Sherlock Holmes Casefiles", remember? The Mummy's Curse, The Tin Soldier and The Other Case Whose Name Slipped My Mind TOtally But Must Have Been Just As Engrossing.
Not to mention I'd already have a use for it, but then, it's wouldn't be an adventure-game use. I like using AGS for doing other things of mine.
Basically, just adding the possibility of VCR-style controls to video playback. FF, Rewind, and maybe even allow these controls to pop-up even when in full-screen. Pretty much like MEdia PLayer, in fact.
