Could we please have a way of changing the GUI buttons' Z-Order? I'm in the nasty position of having to delete and re-add EIGHT buttons because I want the newer 2 to be displayed BEHIND them.

Oh Yeah I had that problem once too , its so annoying.

Sounds a reasonable enough request, if there's interest then it can be added to teh tracker.

Ok, so I take it it'll be low priority? I'd like to know that, so that I know whether to delete those eight buttons or wait for the fix.

It won't be in 2.7 if that's what you're asking - there's just too much already on the list.
