SayBackground - animate the character? And sierra-style?

character.SayBackground doesn't animate the character. And neither does it play it sierra-style. Ok. This I know. But could they please be available too? Maybe as an optional, since they've been added. Unlike some things I usually ask, this I will need in the near future... if possible. Is it at all possible? Heck, is it in the tracker, even? I'll need lip-synching for a couple of SayBackground times, and it has to be sierra-style (since no other style allows lip-synch).

I'd really like to see a backgroundspeech thing using talking animations, too.
I coded it for my game (Lucas Arts mode, not sure if this will be of any use to you, Rui), but that's kind of messy and requires lots of workarounds to make idle animations work properly with it.

And I agree that backgroundspeech also working with Sierra Style speech would be a really useful thing to add. :)

Yes, I THOUGHT it'd be in the tracker, just didn't actually look. Well, here's me saying that this will be needed. Not SOON soon, but soon. Say, in a coupla months time.

(and by then AGS will probably be version 2.75, the way CJ works hard)
