Separate forum board for modules?

Look around, it IS becoming a little annoying isn't it?  The MODULE topics everywhere?  They dominate the Technical Archive always, and they clutter this board.  I have nothing against modules I assure you, I just think there should be a seperate board or two for them.  Perhaps "Modules in Progress" and "Finished Modules" boards, mirroring the game boards?
What do you all think?

New modules get posted in the Tech Forum and will be moved to the Tech Archive when they leave the front page and appear to be stable.
I think it's fine the way it is.

However, your previous suggestion about a script module database is a good idea and will be implemented at some point, as CJ indicated.

As I said, I don't have a problem with the way the modules are being handled, except for the clutter.  It is difficult to see non-module topics because there are so many of them.  It just seemed logical to filter them a bit.  Just a suggestion though, and I do look forward to my other suggestion getting somewhere, that will be neat  :)

I would preferer to have board just for the module. Each post would be a MODULE. LIke this would be much easier to find modules. I would put just one board.

The tech archive is pretty much nothing but modules as it is.

The only good reason for a module-only forum would be if people also could announce modules they are working on, so that 1) multiple people don't waste time on working on similar modules at the same time, 2) users can come with feature requests during development.

I like it the way it is, for one simple reason: if we want to look for a specific module, or template, or whatever, we have jasonkay's resource site, which is quite comprehensive. And the current way (creator announces module on Techie, people try it out, people give their thoughts and spot the bugs, corrections are made if necessary, and eventually it moves to Tech Archive - which isn't all that hard to browse, really, and you can just do a search for threads with "MODULE:" at the title on Tech Archive).

Ahem.
While this is true, the problem isn't finding the modules, it's getting them their own space.  Right now they clutter up the Tech forums, mainly the archive, making it difficult to browse.

I guess the tech archive, seems nice. It is not ideal, but it is good.

I kind of agree with akumayo. A module-board would be nice since it'll make things easier. And: if you go searching it's more easy to find modules than other threads. (People don't know what to search when they want everything but modules, do they?)

But I'd make a module and plug-in board since they're almost similar.
