1) Can you make it so that you can renumber sprites, and that if you change a sprite number then the link to it from a view is updated?

It would be helpful if you decide to make an animation longer and want to keep the frames of the animations next to eachother in the sprite editor.

2) An Eraser for the Mask Editor, a couple of levels of Undo, and a pencil/brush (1x1, 2x2, 3x3, 4x4, 6x6 circle, etc.).

It's very annoying to be clicking along the edge and mess up and then accidently click again and not be able to fix it easily.  (I know I should just use Photoshop, but I'm just trying to get something working, and it would be nice to be able to quickly and easily make masks).

3) Have the editor look for RAW rooms in a "ROOMS" Directory (same with SOUNDS and MUSIC).  i.e. "YOURGAMEHERE\ROOMS"

I just like to be as organized as possible and having all my rooms in the game's main directory is a little messy for me.

4) (Addition to another post of mine - About Being able to get Mouse Cooridinates from behind Script window) Actually, it would be a lot nicer to be able to minimize the script window (or leave it up and running) while still being able to look at the sprite manager, view manager, and global messages, etc.

I find it itterupts my script programming when I have to close and save my code, go and find the number I need, try and remember it (or a set of numbers), then go back to my room, find the script, open it, find the spot again in my code, and type the numbers in.  Bothersome, eh?

I know it must have something to do with preventing you from opening other scripts or changing rooms, but couldn't you just enable everything except the room editor/other interactions like you do when choosing a sprite for the views?

That's all I can think of for now (I'm at work and not near AGS :'().

along those kind of notes, i think a zoom feature for when making walkable areas and walkbehinds would be useful...

- Oh great, I'm stuck in colonial times, tentacles are taking over the world, and now the toilets backing up.
- No, I mean it's really STUCK. Like adventure-game stuck.

1) The sprite number has no affect on its position in the sprite manager, perhaps what you really want is the ability to change a sprite's position within the folder.

2) I've talked about the mask editor in another thread.

3) Good idea, with a large game things can get messy, this is definately something I'll consider.

4) I'll take a look and see how easy this would be to do.

Actually I'm for the idea of manually setting the sprite number of a sprite (provided it'll check for duplicated numbers and such, etc.). The reason was that I can arrange the sprite number in the slots I like so I can do some tricky scripting on animations, etc (you know what I meaned, right? right?)
However, this can be solved by better organisation when importing the sprites actually but having manual control of the sprite slot numbers is good IMO.

An eraser for the mask editor? Just draw in Color 0, and it'll erase anythign you have beneath! :)
Status: Trying to come up with some ideas...
