Well, hello.
I cat start agsedit.exe, cause when its starts, it freazes at the point where there is this loading window and it starts a printer installion or something and then i need to end agsedit.exe's task or progress wehee!

downloaded it again, and tried to run, but same problem...
Hmm, I think it's a similar issue to this (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?topic=25860.0) which was brought up earlier.
Unfortunately the cause is still unknown and we don't have the best solution at the moment.
I'd be interested to hear whether this issue affects the 2.8 beta version. We never did track down what causes it to happen on 2.72, the only thing I can think is that some sort of component is initialized which causes Windows to check that its drivers are up to date.
well, i tried to run ags 2.8beta5 but then i got new error:

Are there anywhere some older versions like 2.5 or so, i would try those, i UTFG'd but didn't found any of those...
First, try uninstalling, then re-installing the .NET framework and see if the problem goes away.

When i Start AGS up i get an error message that states that I need to insert the disc Labeled scannercopy
