Title: SUGGESTION: better documentation on "record" feature
Post by: Rui 'Trovatore' Pires on Wed 28/02/2007 12:50:54
AGS has a "record" feature that is rarely used. Is it rarely used because it's not very useful or is it rarely used because it's not properly documented? I tend towards the latter. It seems an invaluable tool for bug-tracking and/or reproducing in the beta-testing phase. While there are many other things that could be added to improve this phase, I suggest proper documentation on this feature.

I thought it had some problems with going out of sync?  Perhaps that's why it's not documented?

It did? I didn't know that. Maybe THAT should be documented so that people don't ask this again. :=

Yes, it's not documented because it doesn't work properly :P

Basically the playback can go out of sync, and I've never really spent the time investigating it to find where the problem is.

Well, if it doesn't work properly and so on, then maybe it could be removed?
